About the event
As you may have seen or read in the media recently, Forest Bathing is gaining awareness across the Country as one of the keys to better general health. Â Join our walk and bring a Mother along who could use some nature time with Mother Nature herself.
On this very leisurely walk/stroll (less than a couple kilometers) I will guide the group through an experience that allows a greater and deeper connection with nature allowing for its healing abilites to truly and profoundly reach each participant. Â I faciliate 3-4 sharing circles during the walk where participants have an option to share what they are experiencing during each phase. Â We end with a enjoyable tea ceremony.
As a certified ANFT (Association of Nature and Forest Therapy) Guide, Alberta 4 season trail guide (IGA) and Wilderness and Remote and First Aid certified, and over a thousand hours of professional guiding, I am well qualified to provide an enjoyable and safe experience.
Our location wiill be in the Kananaskis area (likely based at Kananaskis Village) and will require a one way drive of approximately 1 hour from Calgary. Â FInal location will be announced 48 hours before the event to account for weather.
Come experience Forest Bathing, like so many others, Â and the amazing and immediate effects it has on human health.
